{Food + Drink} 美好的一天在 The Mill

閒來無事時就愛待在咖啡店,這是iRene生活靈感的小來源喔!

拜訪許多咖啡店，最詪我們流漣忘返的，還是這種沒有過多夢幻或貴麗堂黃隨意自在的空間，

現在,重視的是a place that can make us feel comfortable and relaxed.

The Mill is another unique gourmet cafe establishment in San Francisco.

喜歡看2~3好友，點杯咖啡或dessert或pastry和那有說有笑的表情；

此時, 對面正坐著一隊老夫妻，各拿著一本小說，

 

偶爾安靜地各自閲讀著，有時交頭接耳，並開心的享用咖啡,

這種溫馨的情境，也會詪我們的笑容,一直維持在10 o'clock.

 

記得有一次來The Mill,遇到一位從澳洲來的揹包客, 他也是點了杯latte和toast,

因為就坐在隔壁, 大家不知不覺聊了起來,說到夏威夷和紐約的旅行,當然舊金山也不例外,

他希望我們住在本地的,可以推薦給他一些Must visit咖啡店…,

想表達的就是:這裡就是如此的不拘謹,是間會讓人微笑的咖啡店!

所以說,來這點Toast一點也不怪,

 雖說一些朋友都笑我們, 吐司在家吃就好,

幹麻去那兒order toast?!

殊不知,這裡的吐司是Josey Baker Bread出品, 它家都focus在sourdoughs,

 

材料成份都是organic , 似乎所有的麵包都有加上海鹽,

 

吃起來,當然除了新鮮外,且別有一番風味啦!哈哈^^

 

在這裡,總能休閒地度過美好的午后! (蜂蜜也可買喲!)

The Mill, a massive warehouse-like space that combined a cafe with bakery. The space is bright and airy, with well arranged shelving on the wall to display products for sale.

Seating space is limited. Their coffee is sourced locally from 4 Barrel Coffee.  

 

Josey Baker Bread is located inside The Mill, a café/bakery in San Francisco. All Josey Baker breads are sourdoughs with sea salt added, and all ingredients such as flour, seed, and nuts are organic. Josey Baker, the founder, started baking at home years ago, and decided to pursue making bread as a full time profession.
